“Eliminating Complexity in Creating HPC/Computing/Networking Platforms”

SPEAKER: Larry Genovesi, CEO, Terascala

LOCATION: iLab – 460 Springpark Place Suite 900 Herndon, Virginia 20170

ABSTRACT:

Terascala has designed a powerful, low-cost blade platform for high-density computing, storage, and networking elements. The Terascala Blade Cluster family provides new levels of configuration flexibility and a fully-integrated blade management system for lights-out monitoring and management of clusters of all sizes. Innovative power designs reduce heat generation while increasing density to meet the environmental needs of large datacenter installations. This presentation will discuss design goals and trade-offs in the creation of this architecture for high performance computing.
